About Us
Cancer Connections Maine is free for people with cancer, their families and caregivers. The event is the result of collaboration among healthcare and service providers in Cumberland and York Counties and, as such, is the only conference of its kind in Southern Maine. The many workshops afford attendees a unique opportunity to learn about the latest innovations in cancer care treatment, diet, research, financial resources, support systems, and more. Most importantly, the conference offers patients a chance to network with others to learn they're not alone in their battle against cancer. In addition, on-site vendors have information about everything from new medicines to where to shop for products designed for cancer patients. It is hard to believe this event can get better every year, but it does! Last year we increased attendance 50% over the previous year, and served an audience of over 250 cancer patients and their caregivers with a wealth of information, resources and new ideas to continue their cancer journey.
